Bosses
Allumeria has three bosses in Early Access 0.15: the Forest Spirit, the Snow Spirit and the Desert Worm. The official wiki's monster page still carries the old "17 monsters, 2 of which are bosses" line and has no Desert Worm row — the Worm has its own page and its own achievement, so we list it here from those sources instead.
| Boss | Health | Defence | Drops |
|---|---|---|---|
| Forest Spirit | 200 | 2 | Blessing of the Forest ×1 · Health Potion ×5 · Flower of the Forest ×1-3 |
| Snow Spirit | 200 | 2 | Gold Token ×1 · Health Potion ×5 · Diamond ×5-10 |
| Desert Worm | 2500 | — | The Nightmare Blade, a stack of copper tokens, and the De-Wormed achievement |
- Forest Spirit — 200 health, 2 defence. Summoned with an Ominous Deer Skull (10 Skull Fragments at a workbench); it no longer spawns naturally as of 0.15. It summons three Deer Shields, spawns Wizards, and throws Deer Skulls that hit for 10.
- Snow Spirit — 200 health, 2 defence in the wiki table, with segments listed separately at 50 health each. Infinimelon describes the fight as a four-piece body: it picks up one piece to crush you with, that piece is the weak point, and destroying each piece defeats it. Drops include the ice pickaxe you need for palladium.
- Desert Worm — 2500 health, by far the largest pool in the game. Summoned by unlocking the final area of the desert dungeon and activating the summoner; it spawns outside in the desert, can fly, and splits into three segments at 50% health.
Full strategies are in the boss guide.
How spawning actually works
Monsters only spawn on natural blocks, which is why the store page can promise you can "go wild with dark and light" while building. A few spawn in sunlight (Fuzzy, Hog) but most need darkness, and the spawn-surface column above tells you which block type each one needs. That also means the block under your floor matters more than the torch on your wall — replace grass and stone with planks, bricks or any crafted block and the room stops spawning.
You can switch spawning off entirely with the Monster Spawning toggle in the cheat menu or the /mobs chat command — see commands and cheats.
